we are happy to announce the 14. Mini-Symposium of the RMU-RNA Salon “Genomics approaches in RNA biology”!
The RMU-RNA Salon is designed as a series of events to bring together scientists interested in RNA biology within the extended Rhine-Main area to increase the awareness for available methods and to fuel interactions.
When: Tuesday, June 2nd 2026, 12:30 – 6:00 pm
Where: Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Alte Mensa – Room 00 156 (Atrium maximum), Johann-Joachim-Becher-Weg 3-5, 55128 Mainz
Keynote speakers:
David Tollervey (University of Edinburgh, GB) – RNA interactions in a time of stress
Niels Gehring (University of Cologne) – Insights into human (RNA-)Biology using inducible degron systems
Invited speakers:
Tamer Butto (IMB Mainz) – mapping pre-rRNA processing & modification
