For more than 10 years Jasmin Hefendehl have now been studying Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) as well as the immunsystem of the central nervous system. The main focus of her research is the early phase of plaque deposition and its impact on cell function during the stage of non-neuronal loss. She is particularly interested in basic research with a direct link to a potential therapeutical application.
