Simon Trowitzsch aims at ribonucleoprotein complexes and dynamic, membrane-embedded protein assemblies involved in the biogenesis of transfer RNAs and the onset of adaptive immunity, respectively. Our research combines molecular, cell and structural biology with biochemical and biophysical techniques.
