This year’s annual Walther Flemming Award goes to SCALE member Florian Wilfling for his work on “ultrastructural analysis of autophagy using correlative cryo-electron tomography”. The Walther Flemming Award is offered for excellent research in cell biology by the German Society for Cell Biology (DGZ) and ibidi GmbH. The award is given to senior postdoctoral researchers and early career group leaders for their recent work.
