The SFB1551 Seminar Series invites you to a presentation by Prof. Dr. Yuh Min Chook from UT Southwestern Medical Center, USA, entitled “Signals and Blockers in Nuclear-Cytoplasmic Transport.”

This talk will explore the mechanisms controlling nuclear protein export, with a focus on the XPO1 and Msn5 export pathways. Prof. Chook will discuss how these pathways recognize different nuclear export signals, recent insights into the cancer therapeutic target XPO1, and the broader potential of nuclear export pathways for therapeutic intervention.
