Night of Science 2025: A Celebration of Curiosity and Discovery

On June 13, 2025, Frankfurt’s Riedberg Campus will come alive with lights, experiments, and excitement during the Night of Science—a student-organized event that brings science to the public in the most engaging way. Since its launch in 2006, the Night of Science has become a local tradition, offering over 100 lectures, guided tours, and hands-on activities throughout the night. From atomic physics to zoo animal biology, visitors of all ages can explore the full spectrum of natural sciences, with some talks held in English. Please take a look at the program to discover all the exciting events happening throughout the night.

The event is open to everyone—science enthusiasts and the simply curious alike. A variety of food options will be available, including crowd-favorites like nitrogen ice cream, prepared live with a scientific twist. Prospective students can learn about degree programs at Goethe University and get detailed insights into science-related study options. This year’s event pays tribute to Rosalind Franklin, the pioneering biochemist whose work was vital to uncovering the structure of DNA and RNA.

Admission is free and no registration is required.
